Day 1Surabaya/Malang – Tumpaksewu
It’s highly recomend to start the trip at 5 am in the rainy season (November – May), we will drive about 2-3 hours to Pronojiwo Village. On your arrival to the Tumpaksewu basecamp our journey begin on Panorama point where you can see the whole Tumpaksewu Waterfall, and if the sky is clear you would be able to see Mount Semeru which is the highest volcano in Java Island.
Afterward we will continue walk down about 30-45 minutes into the bottom of the waterfall. Beware, the path is completely slippery and we must pass a small waterfall and crossing the river. Make sure you’re using proper shoes/sandals and our guide would escort you through the safest way. And then after exploring Tumpaksewu Waterfall you also have option to visit another waterfall like Goa Tetes Waterfall, Nirwana Cliff and Blue Lagoon.
